Dealer Questions:
As a dealer, is the $75 per table 1 day or for the whole
weekend?
The $75 per table includes the entire weekend! For a show this
size and a facility this big only $75 per table is very cheap.
Many of our dealers purchase 4-8 tables.
How big are the dealer tables?
The tables used at the Expomart are standard 6 ft tables (6' x
30") which are used for all of their conventions.
How much space do I have behind my tables?
The space behind your table is approximately 3 ft. We ask that
every dealer be respectful of each others' space.
As a dealer, what should I do to guarantee tables for the next
show?
Just go to www.steelcitycon.com and download a copy of the
Dealer Form (PDF). Print out the downloaded copy of the Dealer
Form and fill it out completely, sign it and include your check
or money order. If you have a problem downloading the Dealer
Form send us an e-mail or call us and we will send you the form
in the mail.
What type of payment do you accept for dealer tables?
We only accept checks, money orders and online
paypal orders.

Do you have a special rate with a hotel for Steel City
Con attendees and Dealers?
Yes. The Radisson Hotel in Monroeville is attached to the
Expomart and offer a great price for your stay.
Please click on the Hotel button on our website for all the
details. Only a certain number of rooms are blocked off at the
special rates so please make your arrangements as early as
possible. Don't forget to mention that you want the Special Rate
for the Steel City Con!
As a dealer, can I set-up at the show for only 1 day?
No. In fact we only offer tables to dealers who can do the show
for the entire weekend.
If I want to be a dealer at your show how soon do you need to
know?
Every show we promoted has been a dealer sell-out. Each show has
sold out faster than the one before. Our recommendation is that
you buy your tables as soon as possible.
Can I reserve a table now and pay for it later?
We don't guarantee or reserve tables unless we receive payment
first.
When is dealer set-up for the show?
Dealer set-up is Friday night between 4-9pm. We sometimes allow
dealers with a large number of tables to start set-up at 2pm.
Dealer set-up is only Friday night.
Can I set-up on Saturday morning?
No. Dealers are given plenty of time to set-up on Friday night.
Dealers are allowed 1 hour before the show opens on Saturday
morning to touch up their displays. After the doors open to the
public no carts of any kind are allowed in the aisles and set-up
is over.
Since I also do other shows can you send me flyers so that I can
help promote the Pittsburgh Toy Show?
Yes. We greatly appreciate dealers who distribute flyers at
other shows around the country! Simply request and we'll get
them to you.

What are the show times?
General admission Saturday is 10am- 6pm and Sunday 10am- 4pm.
The Early Buyer Event is only Saturday morning 8-10am.
How much is general admission?
Adults - $7, Kids under 12 - $5, Early Buyer Event - $10
What is the Early Buyer Event?
The Early Buyer Event takes place only on Saturday morning
8-10am. It allows you the opportunity to buy a full 2 hours
before the general public is admitted. No special pass required
- just show up and pay Early Buyer Admission. The first 1,000
attendees get a FREE Toy or Collectibles item(s)!
As a Customer, does the Early Buyer Event also give me
all day admission?
Yes. The Early Buyer Admission allows you to buy before the
general public and lets you in the show the entire day!
If I'm a customer who arrives on Sunday in the late
afternoon will your dealers still be set up?
Yes. Our Dealers sign a contract which is strictly enforced.
They must remain set-up during all advertised hours of the show.
How can I make sure I get a postcard before each of the
Steel City Cons?
Simply join our mailing list on our website and we'll send you a
postcard before each show.
If I belong to a collectors club how can I help get the
word out about the Steel City Con?
If you belong to a collector group, club, or know people who
would be interested in coming to the Pittsburgh Toy Show please
let us send you flyers for our next show for you to distribute
at your next meeting or let your members know that they can go
to www.steeelcitycon.com and join the mailing list so that we
can send them a postcard before each show.
Where do your dealers travel from?
We have dealers that come from as close as Pittsburgh or as far
away as Texas, California and Canada.
Do you raise money for charity?
At every show we raise some money for the American Cancer
Society. At this past show we did a prize drawing for an entire
table of toys - chances were only $1 each. (Located at the Show
entrance - look for the American Cancer Society Banner) This is
a great cause and we ask you to give generously. All proceeds go
to the American Cancer Society
As a customer, what kind of items will I find at the
Steel City Con?
You will be able to find both New and Vintage Toys, Comic Books,
Action Figures, Manga, Anime, Gaming, Minitures, Diecast,
Hotwheels, Matchbox, Corgi, Dolls, Barbie, G.I. Joe, NASCAR,
Model Kits, Star Wars, Star Trek, Sci-Fi/Horror, Johnny
Lightning, Transformers, Disney, McFarland Toys, TV/Movie,
DVD's, Planet of the Apes and much, much more. The best thing
about the show is that you never know what you're going to find
and each show is different than the one before!
